JimCoplien이 OrganizationalPatterns라는 논문을 발표하면서 조직에 PatternLanguage를 적용하는 시도가 이어졌다. WardCunningham은 1995년에 PLoP에서 EPISODS 논문을 발표하며 개발팀의 조직이나 프로세스를 기술했다.
